Project CHICK—Monday, April 16, 2018 at 3pm
Casey Farm will be here to give a hands-on presentation about chickens and eggs. They will be setting up an incubator to hatch Dominique chickens, an endangered breed that they are working to preserve.
Book and Bake Sale —Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 9am to 1pm.
Large selection of fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, and DVDs!
There will also be a selection of homemade baked goods for sale!
Bag of Books Clearance Sale — April 30-May 12, 2018
Stop in and take advantage of our clearance sale. Shoppers are invited to come in during regular business hours and fill up a bag of books (includes fiction, non-fiction, and children's). ONLY $3.00! We also have a selection of DVD's for $1 each.
Movie Matinee at the Library! — Wednesday, May 16 at 3:30pm
Based on a NY Times bestseller, this is an incredibly inspiring and heartwarming story of a boy with facial differences who enters mainstream elementary school for the first time. This film is rated PG. This is a family program for adults and children. Call 568-6226 or stop by for details.
2018 Summer Reading Program—July 9-August 10, 2018
This year’s theme for summer reading is “Libraries Rock!” We will be hosting a series of events to celebrate the theme.
For Kids (ages 5-12)

In addition to our lineup of performers and presenters, children, teens, and adults who track their summer reading progress will be eligible to enter into drawings for prizes, many of which were kindly donated by local businesses. Stay tuned, and keep an eye on our Facebook for more information!
Bone Builders—Mondays and Fridays at 1:30pm
Bone Builders is an exercise program for men and women aged 50+ and sponsored by the Village at Waterman Lake. The program is based on research showing that moderate free-weight training performed regularly can improve strength and balance, increase energy levels, and significantly increase bone density.
